10/10 Great HKC Event

By Victor Lewis / Sugar Hill, United States

I thoroughly enjoyed the HKC Certification event on April 24 in Rome, GA. Kristy was very knowledgeable and professional in her approach to teaching the 3 foundational movements (2 hand swings, goblet squat, and Get Up) of Kettlebell training. I learned so much more about performing these movements as well as how to help others better master each of these movements. I am seriously considering training for and attending an RKC Certification in the near future.

10/10 Great teacher

By Frank Burnette / Franklin, United States

I attended an HKC certification class with Kristy in Rome, Georgia on 24 April 2021. She was personable, professional and patient. She was enthusiastic and offered detailed instruction on the three primary exercises (Swing, Goblet Squat, Get up) important to a student being successful. She and another instructor, Donna Martin, provided any help students needed to get better. I would recommend to anyone that a class with Kristy is worth the time and effort. She is an excellent teacher. As someone who has taught physical education for nearly 40 years in the public schools, I feel confident that I can identify a good teacher when I see one.

10/10 Very Knowledgeable and Awesome Instructor

By Brandon Cook / Cary, United States

I took the Hardstyle Kettlebell Workshop with Kristy at her Gym in Rome, GA. She has an awesome gym and is a very knowledgeable and skilled instructor. I highly recommend her. I have over 20 years of fitness training experience, am a certified nutritionist and corrective exercise specialist. I also have 12 years of martial arts training. Additionally, I've been training with kettlebells on my own for a few years, reading the DD books and DVD's offered. Even so, with Kristy's acumen and years of coaching experience, she offered me deeper insights and training tips to further refine my KB Swing, get-up and goblet squat that I could put into practice immediately. She is a very competent instructor and she pushed me to swing heavier bells than I thought I could. I was even able to swing her 132lb S.O.B. kettlebell a couple times. Overall she is an awesome trainer and a great person to work with. I would definitely train at KA Athletics if I live near or in Rome, GA.

10/10 Great Coach

By Matt Anderson / Blythewood, USA

I recently attended the HKC course, which was held at Kristy's gym in Rome, GA. I highly recommend her gym, and her coaching. She has a very good coach's eye, and gave me cues that I continue to use in the goblet squat, swing and turkish get up. She was able to work around a chronic shoulder problem that I have, and my swings had a great deal more power after working with her. The TGU improvement was great, as well, as I felt very stiff during this lift. After working with Kristy, my form was much smoother, and I am enjoying my training. Again, I highly recommend working with Kristy.

10/10 Amazing Trainer- Motivating- Protector

By Jennifer Hillegas / Rome, United States

Kristy is like a Hawk making sure that everyone is doing what they should to stay safe and not get injured! I have trained with others that didn’t even know that what they were asking the class to do would cause injuries! Kristy goes way above and beyond to demonstrate effective ways of using kettle bells to actually rehab the body from old injuries and prevent new ones! Her HKC class is wonderful the knowledge I gained has made me even more excited to help start training clients and letting them earn their true potential. After this class with Kristy I definitely have the confidence I need to lead guide and protect my clients.

10/10 Safety First

By Lauren Brewster / Rome, United States

I have known Kristy for many years and what I love most about her is her attention to safety. I am a runner in my mid forties. I was looking for a trainer to guide me through tough workouts while paying close attention to form, so that I do not injure myself in her gym. Kristy provides exactly that! I feel strong and safe under her guidance. If you are looking for a trainer to push you to be your best while taking great care of you in the process, Kristy Agan is the one for you!

10/10 Worth it!

By Courtni Webb / Rome, USA

I have been training with Kristy for over a year. Kristy is very good at what she does, which is getting the most out of her clients safely. I had never used a kettlebell before working out with Kristy. She made sure that I knew and could execute the fundamentals before moving on to more complex movements. While I am pushed every time I go to the gym, I never feel like I am doing something that will get me hurt. She is also very good at modifying exercises for people with limitations or injuries. I broke my toe (at home) and still got to come in and get in a good workout while allowing my toe to heal. I am also getting stronger. In addition to lifting heavier weights, my distances on the golf course have increased as well. I would recommend Kristy to anyone who wants to get stronger and feel better safely.

10/10 Jenny Burch

By Jenny Burch / Cedartown, Ga, USA

I have been training with Kristy on and off since 2015 (off being my fault). I currently live 30 minutes from her gym and do online training with some in person sessions to work on form and technique. When I started with her I was completely new to kettlebells and didn’t know a thing. She was very patient and made sure I understand proper technique and how important it was before we did a swing. I have come such a long ways over the years! She is truly an awesome trainer and inspiration. Her being a mom and average day to day person helps too because she gets the mom struggles! Rome, GA doesn’t know how lucky they are to have her here’

10/10 Kristi Agan - Highest recommendation I can give

By Gaines Dempsey / Rome, USA

I first started working out with Kristi after I turned 40. She helped me make some changes in my physical life that need to be made. After about a year, I underwent a major surgery that was the result of an old sports injury. Kristi was a huge help in my recovery. I now feel like I’m in a better place physically than I was 10 years ago. I enjoy my time in her gym. It’s very nonthreatening and is actually something that I very much look forward to three times a week. I can’t recommend Kristy as a trainer enough.

10/10 Best trainer I’ve ever worked with

By Shann Maddox / Rome, United States

Kristy is exceptional as a kettlebell fitness trainer. She’s truly the best fitness professional I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve worked with many). Kristy not only knows her stuff, she makes it her priority to ensure you’re working out safely for your level of fitness. This includes alternative and moderated exercises for those recovering from injury or those who’re are just starting their fitness journey. I absolutely love the familial and super encouraging atmosphere at KA Athletics. It’s the closest gym family I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and I highly recommend Kristy to anyone looking to get in the best physical shape of his or her life. It’s worth the investment.

10/10 Best Trainer Ever!!!!

By Cailin Hughes / Rome, United States

I’ve been working out with Kristy since July, and honestly I didn’t think I would ever have time to go. But every time I go, Kristy pushes me to be the best I can be! She never stops believing in any of her clients and that is what keeps me going! There are some days where I just need that extra push, and she is always there! I would recommend Kristy 100%. I absolutely love her, inside and out! She is amazing! And even though I still have a long way to go, I know she can help me get there! ?? Thank you for all you do Kristy!

10/10 Best Decision!!

By Rmily Ayer / Rome, US

Training with Kristy is truly one of the best decision I have ever made for myself and my family. Because of her help, I am a much happier, healthier, stronger person. Since training with Kristy, I have gained more strength than I thought possible. Kristy has coached me through a major posture correction thus correcting my form in many things. Honestly, I have worked with other trainers on the same things and I have never seen the amazing results that I have achieved with Kristy.

10/10 Best.Trainer.Ever!

By Jenn Morash / Rome, Floyd

If I could give Kristy Agan 20 stars, then I would. When I say she is the best trainer, that is not an understatement. Kristy is beyond knowledgeable, and she cares very deeply for each and every person who steps inside her gym doors. Working out with Kristy is not only about your physical fitness goals, but your mental health as well. When I first started training with Kristy, roughly 5 years ago, I thought I knew everything I needed to know about working out and what healthy meant; being a certain weight and working toward a certain number on a scale. Not only was I wrong, but looking back, I am so happy I was wrong and found Kristy. She has pushed me to become stronger, both physically and mentally, and has helped me to focus on my strength, and not a ridiculous number on a scale. Strong is the new sexy. Period. I have definition and strength, I’m physically healthy, and my mental health (even during a pandemic) is at its best. Kristy provides at home workouts for those of us still concerned with covid19, and also gives us tips and tricks on keeping ourselves healthy. Her positive outlook is infectious, the family environment she has created for her name and gym is amazing, and the overall experience and quality with having her as my trainer has been such a gift.

10/10 Kristy Agan- highly recommend!

By Jaclyn Giles / Rome, USA

Most people work with a trainer to lose weight and become more active. I actually had an issue with over exercising and not fueling my body appropriately when I came to Kristy in February 2016. Watching and learning from her made me admire strength not thinness. She teaches that it's ok to have that bacon or pizza, but first you've got to work for it. I've worked out for years, but since working with Kristy I can honestly say that I'm in the best shape I've ever been in. She teaches how you should lift and exercise to avoid injury and I see muscles in places that I thought was impossible. You will be sore, but never once have I ever been injured while working with her. When she says "stronger ever day" it's the truth. I'm learning to be proud of my body for the strength it shows in getting me through her killer workouts that keep you coming back for more. Each session is different and it amazes me the mixture of exercises and sets that she creates. Every morning is a surprise (sometimes good and sometimes bad) as to what you're walking into. Whatever the method to her madness works quite nicely and to say the least, I'm hooked!

10/10 Piece of Cake :)

By Kim Bussey / Cedartown, USA

I began training with Kristy in October. Every single morning I am challenged to do things I never thought that my body was capable of doing. Kristy always says "piece of cake" when talking about any exercise. It is definitely not a piece of cake, but that phrases makes me know that she believes in us. Because she believes in me, I am able to believe in myself and push myself harder than I ever have. I have loved training with Kristy and she has changed my life. I feel better about myself and am proud of my body transformation. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

10/10 The BEST: Will you push you to the limit!

By Lauren Mill / Rome, USA

For years I have known about Kristy Agan and watched other friends train with her. I never had an opinion one way or another bc I was content with my "cookie cutter" gym membership. However,oIn recent months I grew bored of the same gym routine and was eager to my pre-pregnancy body back. So I reached out to Kristy, within moments of first meeting her I knew I was on the right path. Kristy pushes me to my limits and just before I "puke" she will say "you did great let's call it a day." She knows how to push you hard, but will never make you feel like a quitter or allow you to get hurt. Kristy makes the workouts enjoyable and fun, despite you working the hardest you ever will! If you need a change, if you need something new, if you want to feel "safe" in a nonjudgmental environment and be pushed past your comfort zone ... I promise you Kristy Agan is your person. I'm SO thankful I stepped outside my comfort zone and called her. Excited to see what the future holds with Kristy!

10/10 Challenge = Change

By Jennifer Uldrick / Rome, USA

A little over one year ago, I began my journey toward fitness with Kristy at Pro Performance, and it's certainly one of the best decisions I've ever made! Kristy pushes me to do things I never thought were possible at 5:00 in the morning. She provides the encouragement to keep going when all I want to do is give up, a not-so-subtle "kick in the pants" when she knows I am capable of doing more, and the expert guidance I need to get physically fit in a safe, healthy way. She challenges me on a daily basis, and, as a result, I am proud of the changes I see in myself.

10/10 Life changer!

By Daphne Johnson / Rome, USA

When I started my workout/fitness journey in June 2015, little did I know I was in for a life-changing journey! Kristy has helped me become stronger, more confident, and taught me how to have more of a healthy lifestyle! She is by far the best trainer I've ever had! If you are looking for a trainer that will push you to achieve your goals and be with you every step of the way, Kristy is your lady! Thank you, Kristy! I've never felt better!!!

10/10 Dedicated is an understatement

By Jenny Swinford / Rome, US

When I first started training with Kristy Agan in June 2013, I couldn't even do a push up.... nor did I know what a kettle bell was. I was honestly terrified when I walked through the gym doors because I hadn't set foot in a gym since my high school days. I had no clue what to expect. When I decided that it was time to hire a trainer, my mindset was "just pick one, they will all give you the same result". That couldn't be further from the truth. I have never met someone that invests so much of themselves and their time into helping you become a better, healthier you. Just when I think I can't run any further or do any more reps, she's right behind me (literally) saying "come on Jenny, you've got it". I can't tell you how many times she has "jogged" up clock tower hill with me and around the block just to make sure I didn't give up. I never would've thought I would be able to swing a 106lb kettle bell or do 64 prowlers in one day (with my trainer). Her motivation never stops. I also appreciate the fact that group training doesn't always mean "group training" with her. Even though she is training a group, she will modify the workout specific to your needs. When she sees you having a problem with your form, then she's going to work with you every day to correct it until it clicks. It doesn't matter how many reps you're completing, if your form is crap then you aren't accomplishing anything. She stays on top of her training and takes certifications to get herself to the next level so she can get you to where you want to be. If you have a goal, it's her goal to get you there (all the way down to your food intake). She's the most dedicated trainer you will ever find. I hear people say all the time, "I can't afford a trainer". But you can afford that Starbucks coffee five days a week?? You most definitely get what you pay for! Kristy Agan has changed my life and she's worth every penny and then some...

10/10 Kristy Agan, my favorite trainer and why...

By Steven Owens / Rome, USA

I have struggled with my weight ever since I was out of high school and no longer training 5-6 days out of the week. It's always been a problem with motivation and my exceptional skills in rationalization. It's been very easy for me to find reasons to not make it to the gym. Over the past 7 years I have used many different trainers as a form to motivate myself and only a few of them were able to give me what I needed to not just stay with a program, but to actually enjoy it. Kristy is not only one of those trainers, but arguably the best I've ever used. She knows just how hard to push you in order to reach your potential without being over bearing. She is very well educated in her craft and is always ready to answer any questions I might have regarding training or diet. She is whimsical with her workouts and I never know exactly what to expect which is not only great for my body, but my mind. I love that I have never done the same workout twice since I have been training with her. It keeps me from getting bored and it keep my body from getting used to specific lifts. She also has a great dichotomy between working hard and having fun while training. However, my favorite thing about her is that she lives her passion. She is always looking for new ways to train and is always in incredible shape, which for me, is not only a motivator, but a necessity in a trainer. She holds herself to the standards she sets for her clients. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to become a healthier version of themselves.

10/10 She even works with old folks

By Pamela Green / Rome, USA

I am nearly 62 years old and she made me swing an 80 pound kettle bell for 8 rounds today. That's one tough, wonderful, encouraging, confident trainer. I have worked out for years, but never had anyone have the faith in my abilities that Kristy does. Thanks girl!!!!!I hope I can walk and work tomorrow!!!!

10/10 Making a Change

By Kristy Hughes / Rome, GA, USA

A year ago, I caught a glimpse of myself in a full length mirror. I really didn't like what I saw. My daughter was getting married in June, and I just didn't want to attend feeling like I did. I signed up for a boot camp at a local gym. Across the warehouse, this instructor was calling out instructions to people clearly twice (or three times) her size. Before I thought, I blurted out, "I don't EVER want to do what they're doing!" Boy, did I have to eat my words. Not only have I joined that group, but I have stepped it up to three days a week, with extra swings mixed in just for fun. Why? Because Kristy Agan knows how to motivate. She makes class fun, challenging, and worthwhile. We aren't weighing and measuring every week. We aren't comparing ourselves to each other. She brings you just up to the line of what you can do, helps you believe in yourself, and you step over it on your own. She has taken me from swinging a 20lb. bell and feeling good about it, to swinging 45-50 lb. bells and wanting to do more. She encourages, corrects your form, and challenges you to challenge yourself. I never feel pressured to do things, I feel motivated. I believe that is what a good trainer is supposed to do. Thank you, Kristy Agan, for showing me that I can swing so much more than a 20lb. bell. Who knew deadlifts could be fun?

10/10 No Excuses Training!

By Amy Hakala / Rome, USA

I have been training with Kristy since Sept 2013. I had started training for a half marathon in July, everything I had read said if you do not want to get injured do core work outs. I have known Kristy for over 10 years and knew her classes would be perfect for my training. I had only planned on working out for a month or 2 until after my half marathon training. I have run my half marathon and I am still training.
I would never have guessed how much I love working out. The other day I looked at a picture that was taken 6 months ago, I was amazed at the progress I am making towards being a healthier, fit woman. I want to make a difference for my daughter and to show by example what I am doing to be that woman. Kristy is very intstrumental to the progress.
When you work out with Kristy you get a patient trainer who will work with you on technique and past your comfort zone. She recognizes your ability, strengths and weakness. She makes it worth getting up at 5 am.

10/10 Kristy is Fabulous!

By Carol Mitchell / Rome, USA

I have done a large group morning kettle bells class with Kristy for several years and been very pleased. I feel that she has encouraged me to go past my comfort zone in safe ways so that I can improve. She has a terrific sense of humor and always makes the workout fun and challenging. Recently I joined her small group personal training. It is wonderful! I feel like I get much more personalized instruction. Kristy has had me do things I never thought I would or could do. I feel that I am gaining strength as I learn new things! I appreciate her patience and expertise.

10/10 I wanna be like Kristy!

By Kendra Scott / Rome, United States

Dedicated and Dependable!!!! From the first time I attended one of her classes (2011) I knew she was one of the best. She motivates and pushes you, she pays attention to your form to prevent injury and even if you are not as experienced as others she inspires you to keep trying and tells you it will come. I've joined one of her small groups September 2013 I can't wait to see my results.

10/10 How do I begin to praise such a talented trainer??

By LeAnn Goya / Rome, USA

I have been working out with Kristy since August 2011, right after the June birth of my baby girl. Before pregnancy, I was a marathon runner. During pregnancy, I gained 60 lbs and lost all of my confidence as a woman. After a few months, the pounds were gone and confidence began to come back... now fast forward 2 years... I am STILL working out with her (not bored yet!), maintained my weight (even adding muscle mass), have a better muscle tone than EVER, and I am stronger than ever before! She has made me find my one true love in the gym... heavy lifting! Nothing makes me feel better and more accomplished!

Not only is Kristy a great trainer, but she is a great friend as well. She never fails to ask you if you are "ok" if you are feeling down, or send you a quick text message if you missed class to make sure you are "ok".

I have seen so many lives transform over the past 2 years. It has been an amazing experience that I wish so many others in my life would embark on as well. Waking up at 5:00 am on MWF for 2 years straight never felt so good!!

Thanks Kristy for all you do for the community!

10/10 Skilled

By Tracy Swann / Rome, USA

Ive been training with Kristy for 18+months. I met her in a weightloss challenge hosted by the gym that she worked for. She and i developed a wonderful trainer relationship during the 12 week program that began in Jan 2012. I lost 58 lbs in those 12 weeks and continued taking her classes and personal training with her till I lost a total of 130 lbs. Going for a size 26 to a 10.

Kristy pushed me to set goals and then helped me achieve them. She helped me believe in myself. She also developed a personal friendship with me. I'm not just a client I am a friend. A trainer that has goals for herself and continues to achieve them! She wants to see you better yourself and will push up to do better for yourself. She takes time to know you and your abilities! Her training goes way beyond just RKC.

10/10 Loving Kristy

By Pam Green / Rome, USA

I started boot camp with Kristy in January 2012. I was determined to be in shape by the time I turned 60 in April. She does not give up, she raises my level of expectation for myself and she provides encouragement all along this fitness journey. I never thought I could learn the "proper" way to do swings, but she patiently coached me through and now it just comes naturally. I'm honored to claim her as my instructor and friend.

10/10 This little gal has some big BALLs

By Brenda Giles / Rome, US

I started training with Kristy in January 2013 through Rome Athletic Clubs Extreme Fitness Makeover. I was 235 pounds of emotional as well as physical mess. I hated exercise and it hated me, or so I thought. Kristy is one of those trainers that makes you believe in yourself through encouragement and inspiration. I knew then and I know now that whenever or wherever I am i can all or text her with whatever question I have and she will help me. She is like AA for the carb-a-holic. With Kristy's help I have lost 40 pounds and participated in two 5K runs. At 53, I am able to physically do more than I could at 35. Her inspiration and confidence in me is awesome. Her knowledge of anatomy and body structure is stellar and that is so important as a trainer. i did not know what a kettlebell was 8 months ago, but by golly i do now, and love using them as a workout tool. If you have the opportunity to train with Kristy, take it. You will not be sorry.

10/10 Amazing Trainer

By Christie Foulke / Rome, USA

I came to train with Kristy after 9 months of no exercise, which included a knee injury. I had gained weight and hated the body I was living in. I began training with Kristy and my life began to change. With her encouragement and awesome workouts, which she modified for my knee, I started seeing small improvements in my strength and endurance. This just encouraged me to try more and push myself harder. I was always amazed at how she is able to keep watch over the group, and always correcting form or pushing someone to give a little more. WIth her help, I learned to not focus on the scale but on functional movements and strength building. I am happy to say I have lost 30 pounds, but more importantly I can now do real pushups, gator crawls and even run. While I am not at the end of my journey, I can honestly say I am happy in my body again. I still have many goals and I am confident that Kristy will help me achieve them. Kristy Again is a true blessing in my life. She is a truly gifted trainer and an amazing person. You really can NOT ask for any better!

10/10 Why not???

By Julie Pynn / Rome, Georgia

Kristy Agan...why not do or try that??? Never say "can't" because eventually you can...and if you say "won't", well, that's just an attitude that isn't appealing and doesn't help yourself or anyone else...so why not? A great trainer knows how to challenge, reward, and inspire...and best of all, to guide you in taking a good hard look at yourself...I love push ups, burpees, and in and outs now....the things I couldn't and didn't want to do...because of you! So glad you are changing peoples' lives!!!

10/10 Why I love Kristy!

By Jenny Bright / Rome, USA

This lady has motivated me for years. When I was too scared to go back to the gym because of the weight I had gained after losing some she met me in town with some others and walked, never pushing us to do more than we could and never appearing to "show off". She finally talked me into trying boot camp. She was not even my trainer the first few months but she set goals for me, constantly checked on me and encouraged me. As i progressed she did become my trainer and continues to encourage me..now usually 5 days per week. Now she pushes and corrects form and guides me into something I've never been before...a healthy person :) And as has been said on here multiple times I dread the days she decides to pick my weights, but the feeling of accomplishment afterwards is worth all of the hard work and I know i would never ever push myself as hard as she pushes me. That being said I know very few people who are as kind and as compassionate as she is. Love her to pieces!

10/10 My FAVORITE trainer!

By Jessica Dowdy / Rome, United States

I began attending a boot camp over a year ago with Kristy and kettle bell class off/on. I remember when I first started boot camp there were days in class that I thought I could not complete another rep. She would get down with me and do them with me. I will never forget those moments of encouragement and pushing. I never would have continued had it not been for her. She pushed me more than I ever would have pushed myself. When I first started boot camp sessions I could not run around the gym without walking. Now I can run 6 miles without stopping.. She always takes time to correct form and technique no matter how big the class is. I lost over 40 lbs, 10inches, and 5 pants sizes. I recently began personal training sessions with her and have increased my maximum dead lift weight by 70lbs in only 3 sessions. I have also increased my Turkish getup weight by 15lbs in 4 sessions. I have also increased my heavy kettle bell swing weight by 20lbs in 2 sessions. She also tries to keep it interesting so the workouts don’t get boring. It was only by her encouraging and pushing that I signed up and completed my first Spartan Sprint race in 3/2013 and have signed up to complete a Super Spartan race 8/2013. She truly is an inspiration to me. I am proud to call her my favorite trainer. Thank you Kristy for all you do for me!

10/10 Kristy is inspiring!!

By Dawn Faulkner / Rome, USA

Kristy is an inspiring trainer! I have been attending her kettlebell classes and bootcamp sessions for about three years. I feel so much better when I go consistently. Each workout is challenging, and at the end of each, I feel like I have pushed myself and accomplished more than I thought I could. I definitely see the results in my body. I am more toned than I was a decade ago, and that is thanks to Kristy's training. She is knowledgeable and informed on the most current techniques. No matter how large the class, Kristy personalizes the instruction, watching form and technique and encouraging each participant individually!

10/10 Jason Glenn

By Jason Glenn / Rome, USA

I am a pharmaceutical rep that specializes in diabetes meds. I have diabetes on both sides of my family and was well on my way to becoming one myself. I joined Rome Athletic Club (RAC) in Feb. of 2012 and for 2 mths, Kristy asked me DAILY to come try her class. I told her each time I wasn't ready, I needed to work up to her class. She finally said you'll never be ready till you do it. In my younger years I was heavy into fitness. I even did a little power lifting in high school and have always been naturally strong. The first day I came to class she hand picked my weights, instructed me on proper technique, and held my hand the whole class!! Ever since then she has pushed me to do more, be better and reach goals I never thought I could. Within 2 mths. I increased in weight by 15 lbs with what I was doing in my NORMAL workouts. The true measure of how wonderful a trainer Kristy is shows up in what I do when I'm not in her class. What I mean by that is now my NORMAL workouts include the things she has taught me. I am now stronger, leaner and in the best shape I have ever been in! I can't express the gratitude I have for this woman giving up a few extra minutes to show me new things, correct form and making sure I give max effort even when I don't think I can. If you're looking for an instructor that truly cares about each and every person she trains not just filling her class then Kristy Agan is that person.

10/10 Love & Hate

By Becki Alford / Rome, US

Let me start by saying that I have a "love/hate" relationship with Kristi Agan.
I hate it when she makes me do burpees.
I hate it when she makes me run laps around the building.
I hate it when she makes me do spidermans and mountain climbers for the millionth time!
I hate it when she makes me go up in weights!
And I hate it when she makes me try to wrestle with a stability ball...when who are we kidding, there is nothing stable about THAT ball!

BUT...
I love the encouragement she gives when I think I'm not going to be able to do something.
I love that she puts up with my eye rolling and sarcastic remarks because she knows what's best for me more than I do.
I love how she checks on me to make sure I'm ok.
I love the tips she gives on having a healthy lifestyle.
I love how she pushes you to try new things. I ran my first 5K this year and loved it!
I love how she makes me want to work harder, even when I don't think I have anything left to give.
I love how she has changed my mindset about exercising!
I love how she changes things up from one class to the next.
I love that because of her, and her investment of time and attention, I am able to keep up with my husband when he is exercising.
I love that because of her, I am more confident in, more comfortable with, and more sure of myself and my abilities...than I have been in a very long time.

10/10 Invested in Your Success

By January Shiflett / Cartersville, USA

I have hired Kristy for KB training (I live outside of Rome, and unfortunately am not a member of her gym)... and I would HIGHLY recommend her. The workouts that she has built and recommended for me have been not only challenging, but also entertaining. Kristy has an ability to push you, but also not allow you to get bored with the process either.
I really appreciate that she is a mom and wife outside of the gym. While I realize that that these attributes aren't necessarily HKC, it makes Hardstyle Kettlebells more approachable to other moms- like me. Kristy knows that women (like her) simply do not have time to waste in the gym, and does an excellent job educating us why kettlebells will get the results we want in the most efficient way possible. She will not waste your time or money... She really does care and is invested in your success.

10/10 Great Trainer!!

By Mary Mathis / Armuchee, United States

I started taking Kristy Agan's Kettlebell classes about 2 years ago and i am amazed at how far i have come since that first class. Kristy has brought me from swinging a teenie weenie weight to safely and correctly swinging a 70 lb weight! from not being able to do a getup because of weak, slightly arthritic knees to performing them with a 15-20 lb bell (i am proud of this). She inspires and challenges me every single workout!! What a great example she is!!

10/10 A Gifted Trainer

By Leigh Rush / Rome, USA

I have been so blessed to have the chance to work out with Kristy Agan over the past year and a half. She has a gift to be able to read her trainees and push them when they need it and tell them to back off when they need to. She makes each training session interesting and challenging. She is encouraging and tough at the same time. I have counted the coaches and trainers that I have worked with over the years and it is over 15 different people. Kristy is by far the most talented at fitness training and coaching I have ever worked with. I am stronger and leaner than I have ever been and I had a baby just over 2 years ago! With Kristy's kettebell training I feel like I can take on any challenge I decide to do.

10/10 My Trainer. My Friend. My Life Coach. My Motivator

By Andrew Lee / Rome, United States

Kristy is a wonderful trainer and friend. If it wasn't for her, I would be an obese statistic. In a way, She saved my life. If I hadn't met her, I would have serious health conditions. I was 236 pounds about a little over a year. Since I met her and went through her training and classes I am now around 170ish but with a lot more muscle tone. Her classes that I take start about 5:30 am... Who wakes up that early anyways? Well she had asked me to come in a little early so she can help me with my kettlebell techniques. I always had problems with it but she woke herself even earlier so that she can get me on track. Not only that but she has sacrificed her time to help me with my food choices. I never was serious on what I ate but she didn't give up and kept griping at me :)

Kristy Agan really pushes you over your comfort zone. I am challenged everyday when I am in her class. I have been through a few trainers but none of which lives up to her level to me. Many men believe that a woman cannot train as efficiently as men. Or even they choose not to train under a woman because they don't like being told what to do by a woman. Not me. Kristy is way better than any male trainer I went through.

Last year I wasn't the most athletic and was not all that interested in outdoor stuff. But now I am very active with the outdoors and now participating in the most challenging race I can put myself through. I did the Spartan Sprint and the Super Spartan along side Kristy and this October I am blessed to participate in the Spartan Beast to complete a Spartan Trifecta status. This is a 12+ mile obstacle race which I never thought about being in. Coming from a lazy person to doing a crazy race like this? Kristy is one of the fewest handful of people around the world that can make a transformation like this.

Thank you Kristy for all you did for me and for never giving up on me!
